How It Works

Student Requirements

Prospective students must meet the following minimum criteria:

Students will require note taking materials and possibly textbooks, depending upon the services desired. An American English learning dictionary is useful, but not required. Some students also find electronic dictionaries/translators helpful.

Overview

Instruction is facilitated through individual, one-hour sessions. No specific quantity of sessions is required. You decide when and how often to schedule sessions. There are no obligations and you are free to terminate and resume sessions as needed. You pay for only the sessions you schedule and attend.

This system provides maximum flexibility. You are not stuck in a rigid schedule, nor forced to comply with unnecessary rules and procedures. You set the pace of learning. You are free to devote as much or as little time as you require to master individual topics.

First Session

Several things are accomplished during the first session (which may not require an entire hour):

Fees & Payment

Session fees are listed below. Payment is due at the end of each session. Cash and personal checks are accepted. Students are responsible for any fees associated with returned checks, which must be settled immediately.

First session
$20
Regular session
$35

Session Locations

Sessions are held at the following locations, which provide safe, public meeting spaces. Additionally, these locations offer useful conveniences, such as Internet access (Wi-Fi), snacks, beverages, and restrooms. Students are asked to select a location from this list that is most convenient for them.
